Standard appointment - £49 25 minutes.

Generally, enough time to examine one bird, agree on a treatment plan and dispense medication (if needed)

Extra time or a second visit may be necessary for multiple or complex issues.

If you require multiple birds to be examined during the visit, extra time charges will be applied.

Extra time during appointments - £13.17

If needed during the appointment will be charged per 10 minutes  e.g. examination of additional birds

Hourly rate - £79

By special arrangement, for one-to-one training, longer visits, or travel time per hour for long distances.

Mileage - £1 per mile

Up to 7 miles from BS10.

Additional charges apply over 7 miles from BS10. Please email for an estimate.

Video calls - £24 15 minutes

Please note, these calls are for advice only. No prescription medications can be dispensed remotely. Except for ongoing treatments, where I have already seen and examined the bird.

Dispensing fee - £6.50

Per prescription item

Dispensing fee for repeat medications - £8.50

Per prescription item, plus tracked postage. Please allow 3 days for repeat medications to be posted

Prescriptions - £18

Issued within 3 days of the request

Procedures

Hormone implants and basic surgical procedures are available. Prices are charged on a case-by-case basis.

Chicken Heath and Poorly Hen course - £79

4 – 5 hours in-person course, held in Bristol

Flock health check, or multiple issues, or complicated cases are likely to need a longer appointment time – please email me before booking, so that I can give an estimate of time and costs, and schedule the appropriate appointment length in the calendar (this may avoid a second visit due to time restrictions)
